Bio

Devonte Blackwood (DBevents) is a 27 year old event planner based in Toronto. DBevents specializes in event planning for various types of occasions such as baby showers, birthdays, weddings and cooperate events. Devonte began planning parties and special events with his home as the venue at the age of 17 and decided to take it serious as he found he enjoyed it very much.

Building his craft for 3 years now, I also put on events in the gay community and works with some of the great gay Djs in the community. I am currently in school for event planning and plans to graduate in 2021. Devonte aspires to own his own store front with products and props to purchase or rent for events. He would also love to use his skill to curate events throughout the world & plan events for celebrities. I also hopes to own a private venue for events and continue to make my clients visions come to life.
